In order to reduce
drastically the
iConceptStore™
frontend developer skill requirements, the widely used
JavaScript language
has been integrated with
iConceptStore™
on the client side to enable flexible two-way HTTP communication between web
browser client applications (based on popular
JavaScript frameworks and/or libraries
such as React,
Vue,
Angular
and/or
jQuery) and remote instances of
iConceptStore™
Enterprise Edition.
Although slower, the new JavaScript remote
interface is functionally equivalent to the existing
iConceptStore™
high-performance C++/COM remote interface (both possibly used even
simultaneously) and can as well request and handle either synchronous or
asynchronous response from any remote
iConceptStore™
server.

Work on methodology,
design and implementation of
iConceptStore+,
a functionally extended future version of
iConceptStore™,
has started. In
iConceptStore™ the main
emphasis is on rigorous yet flexible means of intelligent systems' information
representation that
requires scientific degree of objectivity, clarity and precision of expression
during systematic elicitation of relevant application domain knowledge (tacit or
documented expertise) before its multi-level structured description in human-friendly
CML conceptual form, subsequently converted (using the
related CML Compiler) to digital form for efficient storage and retrieval.
Conversely,
iConceptStore+
is aimed at further automated deductive explication, transformation and consistent use of
such generalised and structurally highly organised knowledge through dynamic
simulation of the related mental process of systems thinking based
distinctive form of creative reasoning, as typically exhibited by experts in different
fields of engineering and manufacturing, whose related thought process also
requires high degree of logical precision during their product conceptual design
and process planning activities. In the future these two
complementary aspects would develop in synchrony with each other.

A new original
iConceptStore™
programmatic
(C++ and COM)
HTTP-based interface
– encompassing both system (binary) and task (semantic)
levels
–
has been developed as a first step towards enabling
Windows Server 2019 based
iConceptStore™ cloud and/or LAN deployment
with or without local desktop installation. It provides
transparent unified access to any
iConceptStore
based remote services across Internet and/or LAN,
possibly in combination with any such integrated services, residing on the local
desktop.
A
light-weight remote access configuration
version is also provided for
iConceptStore™
based Process Control/Monitoring
services and other applications, residing on any remote
Windows 10/7/XP
machine. |

The recent launch of the
new 3.7 version of
iConceptStore™
–
an advanced knowledge base platform for next generation intelligent
workstations
–
marks another attempt to prove in practice rather than in
conference rooms that science has some ultimate pragmatic value. The unique
Conceptual Modelling
Language (CML)
of the
Conceptor™
knowledge engineering subsystem of this
version features an extensive set of new modelling categories, dynamically
supported by its run-time engine and related APIs.
Apart from its
practical potential in mainstream computing, the
iConceptStore™
infrastructure, functionality and tools are intended to serve as a foundation
for further cognitive technology research and development
efforts planned.
iConceptStore™
based projects in strategic application domains are already in progress.

Dr
Vesselin I. Kirov
created
iConceptStore™
(an innovative set of intelligent systems engineering language and software
tools, based on his original cognitive methodology) during last two decades – from inception to ultimate reference implementation (using no one else’s mind,
labour or money)
– as a
reflection
of his previous (more than thirty years) relevant experience in different application
domains. During
this lengthy process of multiple extensions, modifications and refinements
iConceptStore™
gradually evolved from a simple prototype to a general-purpose toolset. As in
the case of every other tool in the world (operating systems included) this
evolution was a consequence of progressively changing functional requirements
while continually expanding the range of specific applications developed, some of
which are briefly mentioned on this website. The difference was that these
applications were aimed at serving our own rather than any customers’ needs.
Some of these private applications (e.g., the
integration of
MS Excel through its
iConceptStore™
VBA Add-in) turned themselves into generic decision-making and information management tools
(ready for customers’ use) and
became valuable parts of the
iConceptStore™
ecosystem.
